The ESET Smart Security , could be described as a version Eset NOD32 antivirus with additions such as: email filter , firewall, anti-spyware, all coupled with a much nicer interface and easy to handle.
I have not tested it exhaustively (creating test environments, attacking with all the potential threats and others), but for the time I've used, I found a lot of useful functionalities (firewall, antyspam, antispyware) but the most unique and important feature for me is its monitoring and management tool called Eset Remote Administrator Server.
Installing the product on a server and following the advance setup method you will be able to perform monitor and manage any system with Eset Antivirus on your network. This functionality is an extremely necessary for the corporate environment with more than one location or in management systems that work in remote or traveling.
As a summary, Eset Remote Administrator Server is a feature that really makes Eset Smart Security stand above of its competitors due to its easy manageability and cost. |
